We had a good meeting, though small in attendance (We have a couple guys "balking" right now.)
Each person was challenged to bring someting in that was connected to a one point sermon. Either a tape, CD, video, MP3, sermon insert, powerpoint- whatever. Everybody brought something. Everybody presented. We discussed sermon prep, delivery, etc. It was really constructive- though everybody got their share of tough criticim.
I am really glad we had a preaching book- my guys desperately needed some freshening up on the preaching skills (myself included). We all agreed that we don't suggest ourselves to as much constructive sermon critique as we need.
