I wanted to be the first one to post to this new blog that Clint has started exclusively for ABCNW LLC Mentor Pastors. I hope you have found your way here without too many computer hassles. Just another reminder that Clint is our new region LLC director. I'm excited about Clint taking on this assignment and I know he will help us keep this fundamental ministry of the region strong and growing.
A few details. Clint will be compensated out of the Region budget during 2008. This is your missions dollars at work. He will work one day a week for the Region. As he starts out he will be concentrating on connecting with you, the mentors, just getting more acquainted on what is happening around the Region among the LLCs. Additionally, he will be assisting you in contacting and encouraging pastors who have not yet joined a LLC.
Both of us will be working with you to arrange a conference call in late January or early February. The purpose of this call will be to check in with each other as a team. We also anticipate having a final reading list available to you by then. Until then we are asking those of you who are on schedule to study Leveraging Your Leadership Style by John Jackson for January. (It is available at a good price at the Lutheran Book Store in Spokane, or online at Amazon. See contact information below.)
Once again I want to express my appreciation to all of you. Your leadership among your brothers and sisters in Christ is reshaping what we are about as a Region. Keep up the good work!
